Mr. Goodbar is a really cute boy!! He is very shy at first but warms up quickly. He gets along with other dogs and loves to play. Although he can be fearful, he is not aggressive at all. In fact, he’s a lover who loves to give hugs. 

Mr. Goodbar still doesn't understand the use of a leash. Because of the trauma and history with this group and leashes, they will only be adopted out to people with fences/yards. He will need continued leash training. 

Mr. Goodbar appears to be crate and potty trained but will need continued training on this as he's only 1 year old. Unfortunately, he has been in boarding with our rescue since he was 8 months old. He is about 55lbs.

Gumball is a very shy girl AT FIRST. She loves playing with friends and exploring but she will do this in her own time. Gumball gets along with other dogs who are calmer and tend to match her energy. She doesn’t like to jump into play right away but will do it as she gets to know the dog… she can play for days after she starts though! She would do best in a home with one or two playful mild mannered medium to large dogs. Gumball is doingg better and better everyday on a leash. Because of the trauma and history with this group and leashes, they will only be adopted out to people with fences/yards. She will need continued leash training.

Charlie is a 3 year old 46lb female Chow Chow who came from an unstable home. She was adopted once after that but then returned for being too much for an older person to handle. Charlie does amazing on leash and listens very well. She even does great with new people.

Because Charlie came from a previous home where she was not fed regularly, she can be grumpy during mealtime. She should always be fed separate from other animals in the house. She seems to get along with most dogs, cats, an kids. 

She is crate and potty trained. She also prefers her snacks in his crate.

🐾🐾Meet Trevor (aka Mr. T), a 5-year-old neutered male Chow Chow with a heart as warm as his fluffy coat. Trevor is currently seeking a forever home through Save Oklahoma Pets Society. This gentle giant weighs around 55lbs and has quickly become a favorite among vet staff where he is being boarded.

Surrendered to a local municipal shelter by his previous owners for unknown reasons, Trevor has shown nothing but love and social grace since arriving in our care. He thrives on companionship and adores spending time with people - occasionally nudging for an extra pet or two. His manners are impeccable; he takes treats with the utmost gentleness, showcasing his calm and gentle disposition.

Trevor's ideal home would be a tranquil environment where he can enjoy his version of a cozy retirement. He excels at making new canine friends and gets along splendidly with other dogs. His quiet and laid-back nature makes him an excellent companion for those seeking a peaceful, low-maintenance furry friend. He, of course, will require regular brushing and groomings.

A well-behaved walker, Trevor proves to be a delight on a leash and is fully potty trained, making him an easy fit for most households. Despite arriving with a broken bottom right canine tooth, which the vet has identified as dead, Trevor shows no discomfort at the present time. However, future dental attention might be required to ensure his continued well-being.

Splenda (affectionately also known as “Spleenda”) is a sweet 11 year old, 10lb Pomeranian mix princess who loves hanging out with her people. She found herself in need after coming to a local shelter as a stray. Spleenda is potentially deaf and weighs in at 9lbs. 

The reason we call her Spleenda: During intake, X-rays were taken of this sweet girl and in her abdomen, our vet found that she had a giant mass on her spleen. Off Spleenda went surgery and her spleen was removed. Her biopsy came back with relatively good news. Although she had lymphoma in her spleen, it was localized just to that organ and not expected to spread now that it’s been removed. 

Spleenda recently had surgery to remove some mammary masses and a dental cleaning. After she is healed from that, she will be available for adoption. She is such a loving girl. She is potty and crate trained but vocalizes that she doesn’t want be in the crate often. Spleenda gets along with others dogs very well. She also does well with kids and cats. 

The good witch Spleenda is spayed, current on vaccines and preventions, heartworm negative, and microchipped. 

Spleenda’s adopter will need to understand that Spleenda is an older gal who thrives on routine. She will need a slow transition to her new food (to avoid tummy troubles) and will need crated until she understands the schedule (to avoid potty accidents).

This little well BREAD boy knows his WHEY around town. He loves all the people he has come in contact with and he’s a big fan of other dogs. He even thinks cats are okay. Croissant is the kinda guy who loves to LOAF around. He loves his snacks and is a little bit of a GLUTEN. 

All kidding aside, Croissant is a perfect little 7lb dude who is potty trained, crate trained (even though he does protest it), and a snuggle fella. He’s an older guy at around 10 years old, he has heart disease, and arthritis. He gets around amazing despite his crunchy bones. Croissant’s heart disease is not causing any complications for him at this time but his owner will need to understand that he will need to be seen regularly for check ups.
